Floyd S. Oldt Presidential Igniting Excellence Award

Rubric Criteria

 

  • Nomination and recommendation letters should strive to address the criteria below. The first criterion will be tabulated by the Awards Committee.

 

  • Each section of criteria is worth up to 20 points for a possible maximum total of 100 points for the nominee.  Nominee must have a minimum score of 80 points to win.

 

  • Only one award will be presented.

 

Igniting Excellence Award Criteria:

 

  1. Employed by the University of Nebraska at least 1 year
    1. Current UNOPA member for at least 1 year and in good standing
      1. A member in good standing is one who attends meetings, professional development and other UNOPA offerings, and participates in the annual Parking Lot Fundraiser. (20 max points) 
        1. Attends UNOPA meetings & PD offerings: 5 pts. 
        2. UNOPA Board Member in last 5 years: 5 pts.
        3. UNOPA Committee Member in last 5 years: 5 pts.
        4. Participates in parking lot fundraiser: 5 pts.
  2. Shows support and dedication to UNOPA’s mission/objectives (20 points)
  3. Thriving while working in tough situations (20 points)
  4. Sparking meaningful conversations and actions (20 points)
  5. Advocating for others (20 points)
